Saturn V Rocket Stop-Motion Build

Filmed frame by frame, almost block by block. Used a Canon camera (7D-II from memory) and a lens from the 70s using an appropriate adaptor. Audio is from the actual lift-off and moon landing. It’s a bit rough as it was the second time ever doing anything like this.

Tragedy struck this poor build. At work our team was called NASA (Network Admins, Systems Admins) and so the built set went to the office and was displayed in the window section of our area. Unfortunately when Covid-19 lockdown struck it was left in the office “hey, we’ll be out a week at most” and the poor thing succumbed to UV and suffered badly from yellowing. It’s upstairs somewhere out of sight as it makes me sad.
